Mission Statement

Sustainable Staffing Group is a specialized HR Consulting firm in Cambridge, MA, just across the Charles River from Boston and right next to the MIT campus. Our goal is to help emerging businesses in the high-tech (software, e-commerce) and clean-tech (wind power, solar, battery and energy efficiency technologies) industries acquire, retain and manage their talent.

We also provide copywriting services for hiring managers through our ad smith job description service, as well as for job seekers through our résumé smith service. Our experience in the recruiting industry and our meticulous attention to detail will give you an edge, whether you're looking to find a new job or fill one.

Sustainable Staffing Group firmly believes in the necessity of a greener future. We also believe that clean tech will be the driving force behind the next major economic expansion in the US, and are excited to be a part of this quickly growing industry.


Leadership

Peter Nowicki (President) worked as an agency recruiter for several years, where he specialized in candidate searches for startups. Before that he honed his sales skills for 5 years, most recently at a software company that developed reporting solutions. Peter has a passion for the written language and for developing efficient processes in the workplace. He has a B.A. in English from St. Lawrence University.

Contractors & Advisory Board

Because we feel that a precursor to success is surrounding yourself with smart and driven people, we have assembled a network of talented contractors that specialize in HR Consulting and Copywriting. We also retain a permanent board of advisors made up of top industry professionals. The current SSG Advisory Board includes members with direct experience in agency recruiting, applicant tracking systems, HR consulting and analytical psychology. In the near future we will be bringing on additional advisors, specifically with clean-tech industry experience.
